Father Kieran coming to bless the graves.


You’d gone with Annie, in bitter November winds,

but couldn’t find the place.


‘I should have looked it up before,’ you said.

‘Got the tin out of the bureau and written down the numbers.’


And here, on this small slip of paper,

I see you have done just that.
